There are many who are looking for food, parents, and medicine. We truly are a bless society. Could you imagine having no food and not being able to get any. Being sick and no medicine or doctors, No home and nowhere to stay. I wish this girl was the exeption to the rule, but she and many others are in the majority. What can we do. I don't know.
1Co 2:5 "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

Our upcoming series will be called "Impossible Nothing" We will be talking about the unbelievable power we have accessibility to which is aquired only by faith. Faith is God's easy button. He loves faith and runs toward those that have it. But sometime we complicate our lives and make live out Pop tart christianity. Your life is not meant to be full of complexity and confusion. It is simple. But I believe that is what makes living for Jesus so hard is the simplicity of it all. Pray that God will increase your faith and God will explode your life with meaning and purpose. Love you all and see you soon.

There may be hundreds of opportunities to yeild to temptation a day. Anger, lust, language, laziness, lying, addictions, and depression just to name a few. We look, lick, and love our sin but something in us beckons us to holy living. The Holy Spirit inside of us hates sin and prompts us to avoid it and run from it. But, if we stare at our marshmellow long enough it is only a matter of time until we eat it. If you love Jesus you will hate sin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7LN96jEXHc

Do you follow God or just simply follow in the sins of your parents. If your parents are a bad example or poor influence, it is time to replant a new family tree and learn from the one you had. Love your family but don't follow their faults, failures, and faithlessness. Be a light in your home, but not a at the expense of your relationship with God. Blood flow thicker than water, but the blood of Christ flows thicker than everything. Evaluate, examine, and analyse your family to learn what to imitate and what to eliminate.MUST WATCH VIDEO!

If you struggle with drugs or any addiction or know someone who does check out this video! Addiction is only a way to fill the void and emptiness that can only be filled by the Holy Spirit. The fun, pleasure, and enjoyment given by drugs is only a mask for the pain, hurt, and emptiness that a life without the passion and love of Christ offers. When you see someone involved in drugs or if you are tempted, remember there is always a pricetag. Have compassion and passion for reaching the hurting and addicted of this world. I then saw Jen Way sitting in her car talking to Aaron. A sinister thought, from some passing demon I am sure, passed my mind. I picked up the frog held it in my hand and gave Jen a big hug and then released the frog into the car behind her while I was hugging her. I then got in my car and waited. It was a couple of minutes later until I heard scream. It was great. But now I think, how many of us are greeting, talking, or hugging others that we really don't want to build a relationship with, we just want to drop a frogs. Relationships mean nothing without honesty, trust, and transparency. Let's not give frogs, but give love. Watch out, just because someone is really nice and says kind things, doesn't mean it's legit. Remember Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

Is there a problem with our Christian faith? I am starting to wonder if the problem in christianity is our people or our preaching. I don't fish much but one thing I know is the kind of fish you catch depends on the kind of bait you use. Chrisians all over our country are living mediocre, complacent, lasidasical (lazy...I think), and effortless lives. I have often wondered why. It is easy to blame the people, it is always easy to blame others. But I am beginning to think that it is passive leadership, preaching, and lifestyle of the leaders that is setting the standard for our followers faith. The difference between passive and passion is the amount it cost you to do something. If someone sacrifices for a person, practice or idea that is passion. If someone is disinterested and could care less about something they are passive. I have seen the more I exercised passion for my faith the more those following me has also. I believe their is not a shortage of passionate christians, but passionate christian leaders. It is time we stop compaining about christianity and start being the leaders God has called us to. Everyone is a leader. Leadership is nothing more than influence. If you are not leading you are following. It is time for our generation to live lives of unashamed faith, holiness, and influence. Step up today... the world is waiting for you! Go catch some fish!

I am so amazed by the heart and passion that our Lifechange family has for reaching the lost. But I think sometimes think we overthink what we should do. Just tell them what happened to you. How Christ changed your life. The key is to be yourself and let the Holy Spirit lead in the conversation. If all else fails bring someone with you or just ask them to go to church with you. It all starts with praying everyday for opportunities to share your faith or love them in the name of Christ. The key is to do "something!"

Joh 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship"

Worship, another way I like to call it is "Worthship". We worship our amazing God because he is worthy. Bowing, singing, clapping, lifting hands are expressions of our praise to our creator, savior, and Lord. But if we do not know who we are expressing ourselves to it means nothing. But, as the verse says, you know who you worship, you cannot help but involve your emotions and body along will your mind and mouth to worship him in praise. Our worship night is coming up on Thursday, so remember "who" we worship along with knowing "how" to praise our king.

Evangelism is love in action. It is not just giving the gospel and it is not just loving people. It is loving people through the gospel. Just loving and helping people is not enough. It is not specific and no one can come to a point of surrendering to the God of the universe if they do not know who he is. Neither is just giving the gospel enough. People need more than just facts and information. We all know people who not interested in peoples lives but just interested in getting someone to say a prayer. Jesus healed, preached, helped, and proclaimed. People do not care how much we know until they know how much we care. but most people don't do either one. They are afraid and intimidated to love or to preach. We need to be bold about our loving witness of Christ to others. Can't wait to see a generation of passionate world changers start a crusade of love in sin city this Thursday. C u then!

Watch this video & tell me what comparisons you can make to how we pray in modern christianity. Some things I pulled out were

1. We pray totally ignorant of who God is

2. We pray with selfish motives

3. We pray to obtain worldy possessions

4. We pray only when we need something

Pray is total submission and surrender to the will of God. Jesus said it best when he was praying to his father in Luke 22:42 "not my will, but thine be done." When we pray let's understand that Jesus is not only our father, friend, and savior, but Lord, King, and Creator. Your prayers are only as big as your faith. Little faith=Puny prayer, Great faith=Passionate prayer. You're love for God is not only measure by how much you talk about Him, but by how much you talk to Him. How big is your God?

I love Lifechange but what makes us different. Most churches have a jr. high group, & a high school group, and maybe but rarely a singles group. Everybody would says that is how you are supposed to minister to young people. We must keep them seperate because they are so different. I absolutely don't believe that. I believe a 13 year old can live for Christ as much as a 30 year old. I also hate the statistic of 70% of post graduate teens never go back to church after they leave their youth group. I hate the fact that churches drop the ball at the most crucial time of a young person's life. When they graduate they are making decisions about marriage, college, moving, military, career, vocational ministry, drinking & they are left without their youth leader or christian peers to invest in them and guide them to God's plan for their lives. I love our ministry because I don't see different grade levels, I see generation of potential future world changers for Christ. Generational ministry transitions christian young people into christian adulthood. You all watch the same entertainment, have the same experiences, the same problems and desire the same things. You are all young adults with the same purpose and obligations to be a part of God's mission the change lives.
